Meet Barbara Hafer. The right experience when we need it most. Barbara's top priority is creating jobs for this District. She’s an RN who started out as a public health nurse and will fight for affordable health care. She is a mother and grandmother who will always stand up for our seniors. She opened a center to protect victims of violent crime and help them get back on their feet. As State Treasurer and Auditor, Barbara used real life experience to make government work for families by balancing budgets and protecting workers’ investments and retirements. She funded tax cuts, helped more Pennsylvania families realize the American dream of homeownership, and safeguarded the Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System. A crusader against waste, her on-going fight for fiscal responsibility and accountability is exactly what we need now in Congress. Since 2005, Barbara’s run her own small business, met payrolls, and balanced budgets. A lifetime of delivering results that matter.
